Job summary

Georgia Air Associates has an opening for an estimator to support the sales team by providing quotes for commercial HVAC projects. The role offers hands-on training and a path to develop expertise in equipment pricing and supplier selections.

You will review plans, perform take-offs, and prepare timely quotations in a deadline-driven environment, collaborating with field staff and contractors to secure repeat business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Construction estimating or field experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Adobe.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Windows-based computer knowledge; good math, written and verbal skills.

Responsibilities

• Review construction plans and specs to obtain job scope.
• Compile take-off list of material to be estimated.
• Provide pricing for equipment from manufacturers.
• Use manufacturer software for selections and pricing; obtain vendor pricing when needed.
• Collaborate with outside sales to prepare accurate quotations on time.
• Distribute quotations to mechanical contractors.
• Pursue training to expand product knowledge.
