Job summary

Allegiance Group is seeking an experienced HVAC Estimator to join the preconstruction team for a well-established mechanical contractor in Greater Boston. This role focuses on reviewing drawings, developing labour and material costs, and preparing competitive bid submissions.

The ideal candidate has strong HVAC knowledge, experience with estimating software and Microsoft Office, and excellent organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience estimating commercial HVAC or mechanical projects.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, ductwork, piping, and mechanical installations.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Experience with estimating software and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• NYC commercial construction experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents.
• Complete quantity take-offs and develop labour and material costs.
• Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor pricing.
