Job summary

The Building People, LLC. is seeking an HVAC Engineer I to ensure efficient operation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment for assigned properties.

You will perform rounds, routine assessments, and both preventive and corrective maintenance to keep systems running reliably. Responsibilities include inspecting engine and pump rooms, using hand and electrical tools, and applying EPA Universal certification and journeyman level HVAC/R training to daily tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance of HVACR systems.
• Ability to perform rounds and inspections of mechanical rooms and equipment.
• EPA Universal certification and journeyman-level HVAC/R credentials required.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Inspect engine room and associated equipment for safe operation.
• Assist with maintenance tasks and operate tools and equipment as needed.
