Job summary

Openwork is seeking an HVAC Electrical Wiring Assembler to install and wire components for HVAC equipment in a Stafford, TX facility. You will build control panels, route and terminate wires, and read complex wiring diagrams while ensuring quality and safety standards.

The role offers a Monday–Friday daytime schedule with occasional Saturdays overtime, and weekly pay. Ideal candidates have electrical assembly experience, basic AC/DC knowledge, and a strong eye for detail.

Qualifications

• Previous electrical assembly experience.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Basic knowledge of AC and DC electrical systems.
• Experience with wire preparation, crimping, and electrical terminations.
• Ability to use multimeters and continuity testers.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and production standards.
• Excellent attendance and reliability.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and wire electrical components in HVAC equipment.
• Build and wire control panels, junction boxes, and enclosures.
• Install relays, transformers, terminal blocks, circuit breakers, sensors, control boards, PLCs, and VFDs.
• Route, label, cut, strip, crimp, and terminate wires and cables.
• Read schematics, wiring diagrams, ladder diagrams, engineering drawings, BOMs, and work instructions.
• Perform visual inspections, continuity checks, and basic electrical testing.
• Identify wiring or component issues and assist with troubleshooting.
• Complete required production and inspection documentation.
