Job summary

Openwork is hiring an HVAC Electrical Wiring Assembler in Stafford, TX to build and wire electrical systems for commercial and industrial HVAC equipment. Reading schematics and wiring diagrams is essential; prior experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Install and wire electrical components in HVAC equipment.
• Route, secure, label, and terminate wires, harnesses, and cables.
• Install relays, transformers, circuit breakers, sensors, control boards, PLCs, and VFDs.
• Assemble and wire electrical control panels and enclosures.
• Cut, strip, crimp, and terminate wires.
• Read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, ladder diagrams, and engineering drawings.
• Perform visual inspections and basic electrical testing.
• Conduct continuity checks and verify wiring accuracy.
• Identify wiring or component issues and assist with troubleshooting
• Complete required production and inspection documentation.

Pay: Up to $21.00 per hour, depending on experience | Weekly Pay
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Overtime: Saturdays | 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM, based on company needs

This position is ideal for someone with hands‑on electrical wiring or assembly experience who can read schematics and takes pride in accurate, quality work. You'll help assemble and wire electrical systems and controls used in commercial and industrial HVAC equipment.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Install and wire electrical components in HVAC equipment.

• Electrical troubleshooting.NEC or industrial electrical practices.
• Lean Manufacturing or 5S experience.

Physical & Safety Requirements:

• Ability to stand and remain active for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, kneel, reach, and work within equipment areas.
• Ability to distinguish wire colors and read small labels.
• Follow required PPE, electrical safety, and Lockout/Tagout procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe workstation.
