Job summary

CCI Mechanical, LLC is seeking a Sheet Metal Mechanic to install and fabricate HVAC ductwork, focusing on sheet metal and flexible ductwork in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.

The position reports to the Holt, FL office with hours 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM; travel to local sites may be required. You will read blueprints, work safely with PPE, and contribute to a growing, employee-focused team in a stable environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of construction experience.
• Knowledge of HVAC ductwork design and installation techniques.
• Must be able to work on a ladder or scissor lift.
• Ability to lift heavy materials, work in confined spaces, and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Ability to diagnose issues and read blueprints/HVAC plans.
• Attention to detail and ability to ensure proper sealing and connections.

Responsibilities

• Install ductwork according to blueprints, ensuring proper connections and minimizing air leaks.
• Inspect and maintain existing ductwork, identify leaks, and ensure optimal airflow.
• Repair damaged ductwork by replacing sections or making adjustments.
• Fabricate duct components by cutting, bending, and joining sheet metal.
• Install insulation around ductwork to improve energy efficiency.
• Diagnose duct system issues and implement solutions to restore function.
• Use tools such as shears, brakes, crimpers, wrenches, screwdrivers, drills, leak detectors, and refrigerant recovery machines.
