Job summary

Comfort Systems USA (Mid South) is seeking a skilled HVAC Sheet Metal Mechanic to fabricate, assemble, install, and repair sheet metal products for various HVAC systems. The role requires reading blueprints, precise measurement, use of hand and power tools, and occasional travel to job sites with possible overnight stays.

The candidate should have at least 3 years of relevant experience, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass background, drug, and fitness testing.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a sheet metal mechanic.
• Able to read blueprints and follow instructions.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Willing to travel and stay overnight at job sites.
• Must pass background check, drug test, and pre-employment fitness test.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble, install and repair sheet metal products and equipment.
• Install ductwork per SMACNA standards, including ATU, RTU and split systems.
• Read blueprints, follow instructions and measure accurately.
• Use hand tools and power tools to complete tasks.
• Travel to job sites and occasional overnight stays.
• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.
