Job summary

Horizon Services is seeking a Dispatcher/Customer Service Coordinator to join our Havre De Grace, MD team. This role schedules and dispatches HVAC and plumbing technicians, answers calls from existing customers, and ensures accurate ticket data entry in our system.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of office or customer service experience, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to plan and schedule work proactively. A positive attitude and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• A minimum of two years office/customer service experience (dispatch experience is preferred).
• A professional appearance.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all types of customers.
• Strong customer service attitude.
• Able to plan and schedule work rather than just react.
• Able to think on your feet to provide customers with needed information for your specific installation or repair.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Strong computer skills with good knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to learn customer service management and scheduling/dispatch software.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and dispatch HVAC Service and Plumbing Technicians by reviewing and optimizing routes.
• Answer incoming phone calls from existing customers and provide exceptional customer service.
• Enter all ticket information accurately in the computer system.
• Create dispatch numbers for parts ordered and follow up on part orders.
• Schedule appointments for part installation.
