Qualifications

• Previous dispatching experience preferred.
• HVAC/plumbing/home service knowledge is a plus.
• ServiceTitan experience is highly preferred, but not required.
• Strong computer skills and willingness to learn company software.
• Experience developing efficient service routes is desirable.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple technicians and service calls at the same time.
• Comfortable making decisions and changing priorities throughout the day.
• Excellent communication skills with technicians, homeowners, vendors, and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch HVAC and plumbing technicians to service calls.
• Build and adjust daily technician routes for maximum efficiency.
• Match technicians to calls based on location, skill set, urgency, and workload.
• Monitor the dispatch board and adjust as the day changes.
• Communicate professionally with technicians throughout the day.
• Communicate with homeowners regarding scheduling, arrival times, and service updates.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers when needed.
• Use company software to manage calls, scheduling, customer information, and technician activity.
• Help ensure urgent and priority calls are handled appropriately.
• Work closely with other office team members to provide a great customer experience.
• Assist with answering phones and scheduling appointments.
• Participate in an on-call rotation with other office staff.

HVAC & Plumbing Dispatcher

We are a growing, family-owned and operatedHVAC and plumbing company located in Brunswick, Maine, looking for anexperienced Dispatcher to help manage our expanding fleet of service vehicles and keep our technicians moving efficiently throughout the day.

This is a key position within our company. Our Dispatcher is the connection between our customers, technicians, vendors, and office team. We are looking for someone who can stay organized, communicate clearly, and make good decisions in a fast-paced service environment.

What You'll Do

• Dispatch HVAC and plumbing technicians to service calls
• Build and adjust daily technician routes for maximum efficiency
• Match technicians to calls based on location, skill set, urgency, and workload
• Monitor the dispatch board and make adjustments as the day changes
• Communicate professionally with technicians throughout the day
• Communicate with homeowners regarding scheduling, arrival times, and service updates

What We're Looking For

Compensation & Benefits

• Up to $30.00 per hour, based on experience
