Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer in Littleton, CO to design building HVAC systems for government and private-sector facilities, including aerospace, biopharma and mission critical projects. You will work with Project Managers and own the quality of your designs.

Responsibilities include applying codes, drafting with Revit and AutoCAD, performing design calculations, and integrating plumbing and fire protection where appropriate, with a hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical design of building HVAC systems.
• Background in building code compliance for mechanical design.
• Experience with plumbing and fire protection design.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and/or AutoCAD workflow.

Responsibilities

• Design building mechanical systems, primarily HVAC, for government and private-sector facilities including aerospace, biopharma and mission critical sites.
• Apply building codes to produce designs that are compliant and defensible.
• Prepare accurate design documents using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Confirm design decisions through research, code review and technical analysis, including design calculations.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and own the quality of your design deliverables.
• Bring plumbing and fire protection knowledge into designs where it applies.
