Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Associate Mechanical Engineer in Denver, CO for an on-site, permanent role. You will lead HVAC design, manage budgets, mentor engineers, and help win new work while coordinating staffing across projects.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years of mechanical engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer license.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience, onsite construction experience is a plus.
• Five years of AutoCAD or Revit experience.
• Familiarity with IES VE and HVAC load calculation software.

Responsibilities

• Serve as project manager and lead engineer on a wide mix of projects and clients.
• Own project budgets and quality from planning through delivery.
• Mentor junior engineers while staying hands on technically.
• Write proposals, set engineering fees, and help win new work.
• Build long term client relationships and coordinate staffing across projects.
