Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an entry-level HVAC Systems Apprentice to work with skilled Journeyman Technicians on commercial and industrial equipment. The program includes factory certification through the STA, with milestone recognition and advancement opportunities.

You will train via mentors, in-person classes, and online courses, and will be equipped with tools and a vehicle to perform high-standard service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Computer savvy with good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain a good driving record.
• One year of HVAC industry experience (preferred).
• HVAC education courses (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assist Journeyman HVAC Mechanics in commercial/industrial settings.
• Perform maintenance, repair and replacement of heating and cooling systems.
• Participate in training through mentors, in-person classes and online courses.
