Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking motivated individuals to join our team as HVAC apprentices. You will work on HVAC equipment and controls at client sites and participate in the Service Technical Academy to build skills and earn professional advancement.

The role emphasizes safety, customer service, and collaboration with contractors and the Johnson Controls team. As you gain hands-on experience, you will help diagnose issues, provide practical solutions, and contribute to improving facility

Qualifications

Knowledge of HVAC mechanical equipment and controls is preferred.
Experience with facilities management systems is beneficial.
Strong communication and customer-facing skills are required.

Responsibilities

Assist on HVAC equipment and controls at client sites.
Participate in training through the Service Technical Academy.
Troubleshoot technical issues and respond to customer needs.
Keep customers, contractors, and JCI informed of progress and issues.
Meet union training attendance requirements in the first year.
Provide recommendations to improve facility efficiency and upsell where appropriate.
Prepare quotes to support recommendations and solutions.
