Job summary

Bosch Home Comfort Group seeks a friendly counter sales associate to work directly with customers, handling product inquiries, taking orders, and pulling parts. As a member of the branch team, you will help ensure a positive, efficient shopping experience.

You will process orders, assist in shipping and receiving, and coordinate with credit, billing, and service departments, while participating in warehouse duties as needed. A strong emphasis on safety and zero-harm guides daily tasks.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of customer service experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
• Clear communication and organizational abilities
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with Windows and Microsoft Office software
• HVAC industry background, including warehouse and forklift operations preferred
• Multilingual abilities a plus

Responsibilities

• Delight customers by providing quality products and services meeting requirements and evolving expectations.
• Manage customer relationships and enhance the customer experience.
• Support branch operations per guidelines, policies, practices, and procedures.
• Communicate daily with customers via phone, fax, e-mail, or in person.
• Enter orders, look up parts, research warranties.
• Promote and support sales promotions.
• Collaborate with regional sales force to deliver premier service.
• Work with credit, billing, shipping, purchasing, marketing and other departments.
• Research and resolve customer issues and complaints.
• Provide updates on order status and backorders.
• Process credit and return requests.
• Assist in shipping/receiving and safety compliance.
• Support Zero Harm safety culture and PPE compliance.
• Oversee pricing and margins on orders and adjust as needed.
• Other duties as directed.
