Job summary

Heating and Cooling Supply LLC, a division of Gemaire and part of Watsco, is seeking a Counter Sales Associate in a wholesale HVAC distributorship. The role focuses on providing strong customer service in a sales-oriented setting at our established showroom and counter.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of counter sales experience, proven sales ability, and strong communication skills. Candidates must be able to work independently, multitask, and meet targets while adhering to safety

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ year experience in a Counter Sales role, preferably in the HVAC industry.
• Proven success in sales and providing excellent customer service.
• Strong interpersonal skills including sales, problem solving and customer service.
• Ability to work independently, but meet assigned goals and objectives in designated time frames.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment.
• A willingness to learn and grow with our Company.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Proven commitment to customer service and a safe work environment
• Pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check in accordance with applicable state laws

Responsibilities

• Interact with internal and outside sales people, vendors and contractors.
• Responsible for showroom merchandising and re-stocking product.
• Assist in resolving customer relations problems with both dealers and end users.
• Complete sales order process for customers with efforts to up-sell associated items.
• Adhere to all safety requirements relevant to one’s regular job duties.
• Perform other duties as assignedIn addition to the above responsibilities, this individual is held accountable for all other duties asassigned.
