Job summary

Satellite Services, Inc. (SSI) seeks an Instrument Mechanic to install, repair, maintain, and calibrate indicating, recording, and controlling instruments used to measure pressure, flow, temperature, and other variables.

You will perform diagnostics, testing, and calibration to meet specifications. The role requires an HS Diploma, 3–5 years in HVAC and instrument control maintenance, Backflow and Universal EPA certifications, and the ability to obtain security clearance.

Qualifications

Three to five years in HVAC equipment and controls maintenance and repair in an industrial/commercial/data center environment.
Backflow Prevention Certification required.
Universal EPA Certification required.
Security Clearance (or ability to obtain upon hire).

Responsibilities

Install, repair, maintain, and adjust indicating, recording, telemetering, and controlling instruments measuring pressure, flow, temperature, motion, and other variables.
Disassemble faulty equipment, test mechanisms and circuitry, and replace defective parts.
Troubleshoot equipment in or out of control systems and calibrate instruments to standards.
Calibrate final control mechanisms and maintain safety compliance.
May perform other duties as assigned.
