Job summary
NCSL International is seeking an Industrial Instrumentation Technician to install, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair instrumentation and control systems in a climate-controlled plant environment. You will work with pressure, temperature, level, flow instruments and control valves, ensuring safe, compliant operation.
The role requires an Associate degree or technical cert, 3+ years in instrumentation or automation, and hands-on experience with PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens), DMMs, oscilloscopes,
Qualifications
- Associate degree or technical cert in Instrumentation or related field.
- 3+ years in industrial instrumentation or controls.
- Strong knowledge of measurement principles and control theory.
- Familiarity with PLCs and motor drive systems from major brands.
- Ability to read P&IDs, schematics, and manuals.
Responsibilities
- Install and commission instrumentation devices.
- Calibrate, test, and maintain instrumentation systems.
- Diagnose faults and fix wiring and communication errors.
- Work with PLCs, SCADA systems.
- Maintain calibration records and work orders.
- Read P&IDs and electrical schematics.
- Support upgrades and reliability projects.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Participate in shutdowns and emergency repairs.
- Report conditions and propose improvements.
