Job summary

Building Controls & Services Inc. is seeking a Controls Service Technician II/III to perform startup, checkout, and troubleshooting for installed control systems at client sites in the Wichita, KS area. The role involves service tasks, including emergency calls, with emphasis on system reliability.

The technician will load programs, update firmware, and collaborate with Field Technicians to ensure on-time project delivery and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
• Experience with electronic control systems preferred.
• Strong communication and documentation skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform controls system inspections, service, and troubleshooting.
• Load programs, licenses, firmware updates, and panel configuration.
• Startup, checkout, and commissioning for HVAC DDC BACnet systems.
• Provide customer training and technical assistance as needed.
