Haynes Mechanical Systems in Colorado Springs seeks a Tech II to install, commission, and troubleshoot building unit controllers and Facility Management Systems under the Building Automation Team Leader.

You will communicate design details to customers and field crews, participate in preventive maintenance agreements, and contribute to our on-call rotation while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years HVAC controls database integrations and sub-system experience.
• Niagara certification preferred, with 5+ years of related experience (additional certifications helpful).
• Strong knowledge of boilers, chillers, RTUs, AHUs, and VAVs, and building automation control.
• Understanding of BACnet, Modbus, and Lon protocols and ability to troubleshoot them.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and troubleshoot building unit controllers and Facility Management Systems.
• Communicate design details to customers and field teams and subcontractors.
• Perform programming and configuration of operator workstations and integration devices.
• Produce commissioning documentation and as-builts; support turnover to service.
• Provide site training for owner/operator and participate in safety practices.
