Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. in Littleton, CO is seeking a Controls Systems Technician 1 to install, commission and troubleshoot building automation systems.

You will load controller software, perform basic diagnostics, and document commissioning activities while keeping customers informed and safe onsite. You should have a 2-year degree in electronics or HVAC-related field or 2+ years of industry experience; strong interpersonal skills; PC proficiency for programming HVAC software; and a mindset

Qualifications

• 2-year degree in electronics, mechanical systems, computer technology, air conditioning or similar field or 2+ years in HVAC servicing.
• HVAC controls systems knowledge and facilities management experience.
• Strong interpersonal and professional communication to represent Johnson Controls.

Responsibilities

• Load system controller software and perform basic commissioning.
• Diagnose basic HVAC electrical/mechanical issues and resolve warranty calls.
• Provide high-level service to customers and suggest practical improvements.
• Keep customers informed of progress and ensure on-site safety and documentation.
• Generate quotes to support recommendations and document as-built changes.
