Job summary

Haynes Mechanical Systems is seeking a Tech II to install, commission, and troubleshoot building automation controllers. You will communicate design details to customers and field teams, and support ongoing maintenance while joining our on-call rotation.

The role requires strong HVAC controls knowledge, Niagara experience, and the ability to configure and Commission BAS per company standards on commercial systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years HVAC Controls experience.
• Niagara certification preferred; 5+ years of related experience.
• Strong knowledge of boilers, chillers, RTUs, AHUs and VAVs.
• Understand controls strategies and build automation concepts.
• Familiar with BACnet, Modbus and Lon protocols.
• Strong PC skills and ability to document work clearly.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and troubleshoot building unit controllers and BAS.
• Communicate design details to customers and field teams.
• Configure and commission building automation controls per design standards.
• Support preventive maintenance and participate in on-call rotation.
• Complete commissioning docs and as-built information.
• Provide on-site training to owner/operator.
