Job summary

Johnson Controls in Milwaukee is seeking a HVAC Controls Systems Technician to lead on-site control system projects from design through commissioning. You will coordinate with customers, subcontractors and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery, quality, and safety while meeting project goals.

Required is a technical associate's degree and 1–3 years of HVAC/Controls experience, with strong PC skills and knowledge of control theory.

Qualifications

• Technical associate's degree required.
• 1 - 3 years of related field experience in the HVAC/Controls industry or similar Building Automation Systems with System Design or System Engineering.
• Must have relevant technical hands-on experience in systems design and commissioning of digital HVAC controls systems.
• Must be able to communicate technical material to a non-technical audience and work independently.
• Strong PC skills.
• Knowledge of control theory and HVAC systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and complete control systems projects on site.
• Manage budgets, billings, and project profitability.
• Coordinate with customers and subcontractors throughout the project.
• Ensure safety standards and compliance with Johnson Controls policies.
• Provide coaching and technical assistance to team members.
