Job summary

LG Electronics USA is seeking an HVAC Controls & System Integration Engineer to lead system integration testing, lab validation, and cross-functional collaboration with Global HQ in Korea. You will troubleshoot interfaces, validate cloud-based platforms, and support pre- and post-sales activities in North America.

The role requires a BS in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering, 4+ years in HVAC controls and system integration, experience with RS-485/Modbus/BACnet, and fluent Korean for

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years in HVAC controls, system integration, or related controls industry.
• Hands-on system integration testing experience.
• Strong troubleshooting of hardware and software systems.
• Experience with RS-485, Modbus, BACnet protocols.
• Ability to set up lab environments including wiring and PCBA-level testing.
• Fluent Korean for HQ collaboration.
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead system integration testing for HVAC control systems, gateways, and cloud platforms.
• Establish and manage lab environments to mirror field conditions and diagnose issues.
• Capture and analyze communication logs for root cause analysis.
• Coordinate validation with HQ and cross-regional teams.
• Develop technical documentation and training materials.
• Provide pre-/post-sales technical support and guidance.
