Job summary
Nenni and Associates in Northern California seeks an HVAC Controls Project Specialist to diagnose and repair BAS/Controls, support field modifications, and assist with layouts and proposals. You will train customers, document work, and communicate complex technical information to diverse audiences, coordinating with service teams to ensure reliable building automation operations.
A electronics/HVAC background and a valid driver’s license are required, with familiarity in major BAS software being
Qualifications
- Associates degree or vocational HVAC/electronics background required.
- Experience with building automation systems and multiple BAS software is preferred.
- Valid driver's license and ability to interact professionally with customers.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair BAS/Controls malfunctions and modify software as needed.
- Provide field sketches and assist with job layouts and proposals.
- Advise customers on retrofits, upgrades, and equipment enhancements.
- Train customers in control system operations and support service technicians.
- Document work with certificates, punch lists, and completion reports.
- Explain technical information clearly to technical and non-technical people.
