Job summary

CBRE in California seeks a Building Automation Systems (BAS) Controls Engineer to solve HVAC challenges through data analysis, field investigations, and thoughtful programming. You will work with Facilities Maintenance to provide BAS solutions, data collection, dashboarding, and small project execution.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in engineering with 3+ years in BAS/HVAC, and demonstrates strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: bachelor’s degree in engineering and minimum 3 years related work.
• Experience with BAS, HVAC controls, and energy management.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork abilities.
• Familiarity with BAS programming tools and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, programming, and implementing BAS for HVAC and building systems.
• Collaborate with plant engineers to improve building efficiency.
• Collaborate on new construction and retrofit BAS projects.
