LeoForce is hiring a hands-on Controls Systems Specialist to support final delivery and performance of building automation systems across commercial and industrial projects in Fresno, CA. The role focuses on field verification, commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimization to meet design intent and client expectations.

You will bridge engineering, programming, and field execution to bring fully integrated systems online and ensure seamless operation before handoff.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in commercial/industrial HVAC controls or building automation systems.
• Strong troubleshooting across controls, electronics, networking, and integrated systems.
• Experience with BAS platforms such as Niagara, Distech, Alerton, or similar.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and Windows OS.

Responsibilities

• Perform field verification and commissioning of BAS/DDC systems to ensure proper functionality.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system, programming, and installation issues.
• Collaborate with electricians, programmers, and engineers to correct field discrepancies.
• Support system startup and ensure fully integrated building systems are operational.
• Document findings, system changes, and improvements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide customer support, training, and system guidance post-installation.
• Assist with service calls (remote and onsite) and participate in on-call rotation.
• Build deep working knowledge of system designs to support long-term service and optimization.

About the Role: We're looking for a hands-on Controls Systems Specialist to support the final delivery and performance of building automation systems across commercial and industrial projects. This role is focused on field verification, commissioning, troubleshooting, and system optimization, ensuring each project meets design intent, operational standards, and client expectations.

You'll play a key role in bridging engineering, programming, and field execution - helping bring fully integrated systems online and ensuring everything works seamlessly before handoff.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Perform field verification and commissioning of BAS/DDC systems to ensure proper functionality and sequence of operations
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system, programming, and installation issues
• Collaborate with electricians, programmers, and engineers to correct field discrepancies
• Support system startup and ensure fully integrated building systems are operational
• Document findings, system changes, and improvements throughout the project lifecycle
• Provide customer support, training, and system guidance post-installation
• Assist with service calls (remote and onsite) and participate in on-call rotation
• Build deep working knowledge of system designs to support long-term service and optimization efforts

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience with commercial/industrial HVAC controls or building automation systems
• Strong troubleshooting skills across controls, electronics, networking, and integrated systems
• Hands-on experience with BAS platforms such as Niagara (N4/AX), Distech, Alerton, or similar
• Lighting controls or integrated building systems is a plus
• Familiarity with low voltage controls, system networking, and programming concepts
• Experience with tools like AutoCAD, Windows OS, and general software platforms
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally in the field
