Job summary

Air Control Concepts in Richmond, VA is seeking a HVAC Controls Project Manager to lead a portfolio of projects, ensure safety, quality, schedule, and financial outcomes, and serve as the main contact for customers across healthcare, commercial, and residential sectors.

The role drives engineering and field teams through all project phases, requires strong communication, and hands-on experience with controls systems, programming, and commissioning to deliver on design and customer expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or associate degree in a related field or 6 years of direct field experience.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• High level of focus on Safety and use of Personal Protective Equipment on all sites.
• Development of project execution plan.
• Schedules project resources, costs, and procurement of materials.
• Generates and submits progress bills and pursues timely payments from customers.
• Communicate project status to customer and management team on a regular basis.
• Provide direction to subcontractors, technicians, and engineering team.
• Jobsite communication and coordination with other trades.
• Ensure programming and commissioning get completed per design on schedule.
