Job summary

AIR Control Concepts in Richmond, VA is seeking an HVAC Controls Technician to verify wiring, perform device checkout, and support system commissioning. You will program, troubleshoot, and ensure overall system functionality while coordinating with project managers, engineers, and other technicians to deliver a fully functional system to customers.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of HVAC controls experience, a technical degree, and a valid driver's license with ability to pass pre-employment

Qualifications

5+ years of HVAC Controls experience.
Technical degree in field or relative experience.
Valid Driver’s License and can pass pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

High level safety focus and PPE compliance on all sites.
Perform onsite verification of wiring, device checkout, system commissioning, programming and troubleshooting.
Communicate project status to project manager and coordination with engineers, project manager and other technicians.
Write and download controller software as needed and ensure programming/commissioning align with design and schedule.
Respond to warranty calls and service needs; support change orders when practical.
