Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial HVAC controls installations in the San Antonio area. You will manage BAS/BMS projects from kickoff through startup and closeout, coordinating field crews, contractors, and customers to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in building automation or HVAC construction, strong communication skills, and the ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings. Travel within the DFW area may be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in building automation or HVAC controls.
• Experience managing BAS/BMS or HVAC projects.
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Familiar with BAS platforms and controls technologies.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial BAS/BMS and HVAC projects from kickoff to completion.
• Coordinate technicians, electricians, subcontractors, materials, equipment, and schedules.
• Serve as primary point of contact for customers and contractors.
• Review plans, drawings, submittals, and schedules.
• Oversee field installation, programming, startup, commissioning, turnover.
• Track budgets, labor hours, costs, and change orders.
• Conduct jobsite visits and participate in coordination meetings.
• Identify risks and keep projects on schedule.
• Maintain clear communication across teams and customers.
• Ensure quality and contractual compliance.
