Job summary

Texas AirSystems in Texas is seeking an experienced HVAC DDC BAS Controls Project Manager to lead installation, programming, start-up, and commissioning of building automation systems. You will work with customers, contractors, and engineers to keep projects on time and on budget.

The role requires strong reading of plans, submittals, and wiring diagrams, plus familiarity with Tridium, LonWorks and BACnet, and solid IP networking knowledge. Travel to customer sites is expected.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience as a Project Manager on HVAC Building Automation Systems (LON/BACnet/Niagara Tridium).
• Ability to read plans, submittals and wiring diagrams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• General understanding of IP networks.
• Valid driver's license with clean history.

Responsibilities

• Manage installation subcontractor during construction to keep on track and on schedule.
• Oversee checkout, start-up and commissioning on BAS projects.
• Schedule programmers and technicians after install to program and commission project.
• Review and correct submittal documents for BAS projects.
• Coordinate customer training and closeout documents.
• Provide technical support and direction to end-users and employees.
