QUANTUM BUILDING SOLUTIONS, INC. is seeking a Building Automation Systems Project Manager to lead commercial HVAC controls projects from planning to completion in the Austin/DFW region.

You will manage budgets, schedules, and coordination between field crews, vendors, and customers to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.

Competenze

• 5+ years in BAS or HVAC controls, with 3+ years in project management.
• Experience with commercial HVAC controls and building automation projects.
• Knowledge of BACnet networks and control sequences.

• Direct BAS installations and upgrades through all project phases.
• Develop work plans, timelines, resources, and budgets.
• Review documents to resolve scope, risk, and change orders.
• Coordinate field crews, vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Building Automation Systems Project Manager

$95,000–$125,000 annually, depending on experience, plus performance incentives

Quantum Building Solutions is seeking a skilled Building Automation Systems Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of commercial HVAC controls and automation projects across the Dallas-Fort Worth market. You'll take ownership of projects from planning through completion, ensuring quality results, efficient operations, and strong customer relationships. What You'll Be Doing

• Direct building automation installations, upgrades, and controls projects through every phase of execution.
• Develop work plans, establish timelines, allocate resources, and maintain financial accountability.
• Evaluate project documents, engineering plans, and contractual obligations to address scope discrepancies and potential risks.
• Supervise coordination between field crews, vendors, subcontractors, and equipment suppliers.
• Track purchasing, construction documentation, project modifications, and completion milestones.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for contractors, customers, and other project stakeholders.
• Evaluate expenses, payment applications, and job profitability while maintaining accurate financial reports.
• Lead final equipment verification, functional testing, commissioning activities, and customer handover.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years in BAS or HVAC controls, including 3+ years managing projects.
• Experience with Distech, JCI Metasys, Tridium Niagara, or similar platforms.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, control sequences, and BACnet networks.
• Ability to manage budgets, schedules, change orders, billing, and project documentation.
• Skilled in reading mechanical, electrical, and controls drawings.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the DFW area.
• Healthcare projects, BAS migrations, and controls programming experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Sage, Procore, or similar software is a plus.
• Relevant technical education, engineering degree, or PMP certification preferred.
