Job summary

A regional educational institution is seeking a Controls Intern in Fargo, ND. This role includes hands-on experience in HVAC systems installation and building automation. The intern will be involved in wiring, managing installations on job sites, and possibly assist in system start-ups. Ideal applicants are those currently attending trade school in electrical or mechanical fields or pursuing a Mechanical Engineering degree. Qualifications

• Must be able to read blueprints and wiring diagrams.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office products.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Installation of temperature control and building automation systems.
• Assisting with system start-up.
• Work will mainly be on construction jobsites.
