SRS Distribution Inc. is seeking a Controls Estimator to provide controls support and estimates for commercial projects quoted by the department. The role involves reviewing plans, translating specifications into control components, and preparing engineered wiring diagrams and submittals.

You will work with Account Executives and Territory Managers to ensure customer satisfaction and competitive pricing. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent, 3+ years in

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent field of study.
3 years' experience with Commercial HVAC is preferred.
3 years' customer service experience is preferred.
Proficient with MS Office, Excel and Adobe.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Possess a valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

Review plans and specifications to determine controls product to be estimated.
Translate plans and specifications into a specific list of control components.
Estimate pricing for needed products and send quotes to customers or commercial department.
Obtain external vendor pricing and special quotations from subcontractors as required.
Coordinate quotes with engineering services and partner with sales teams.
Support pre-bid meetings to determine sales strategy for projects.
