Job summary

Leoforce in Phoenix seeks a skilled HVAC Controls Engineer to join our manufacturing operations on a permanent basis. You will design, program, and commission control systems, focusing on energy efficiency and regulatory compliance.

The role requires 5+ years in HVAC controls, experience with Johnson Controls, Siemens, KMC, BAS/BMS/EMS, and strong IP networking skills. PE or CEM certification is a plus; excellent problem solving and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years in HVAC controls engineering, manufacturing focus.
• Proven experience with Johnson Controls, Siemens, KMC Programming, and BAS/BMS/EMS.
• Strong IP networking knowledge.
• Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic abilities.
• Clear communication with both technical and non-technical teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently.
• PE or CEM certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, program, commission, and troubleshoot HVAC control systems.
• Develop BAS/BMS/EMS to optimize energy use.
• Collaborate with the manufacturing team to meet safety and ops needs.
• Provide technical support and perform maintenance/upgrades.
• Support IP infrastructure and IP networks integration.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulations.
• Prepare technical reports documenting changes and improvements.
