Job summary

ENFRA LLC is seeking a Controls Analyst to support Energy-as-a-Service projects, focusing on HVAC optimization, performance, and verification of energy savings across multi-building portfolios in healthcare and higher education settings.

The role involves evaluating BAS architecture, troubleshooting performance issues, and deploying advanced control sequences. Travel is required 30–40% to job sites and offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field or 4 years of experience in lieu of degree.
• 2+ years of experience in HVAC controls, design, energy management, or relevant fields.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to interact with owners, owner’s representatives, contractors, engineers and architects in a professional manner while effectively driving project outcome.
• Knowledge of commercial MEP equipment design and operations.

Responsibilities

• Understand DDC controls.
• Develop and implement energy conservation measures including but not limited to room ventilation schedules per ASHRAE guidelines with project delivery team.
• Participate in site surveys, documentation review, and due diligence activities to determine facility conditions and develop applicable energy conservation measures.
• Participate in retro-commissioning and commissioning efforts on assigned projects.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and modify building automation system programming to implement energy conservation measures within existing sequences.
• Interact directly with the project team to ensure high quality, functional and optimized systems are delivered.
• Utilize test instrumentation to troubleshoot, verify, and optimize building system operation.
• Maintain awareness of energy performance for assigned scopes through the duration of the project.
• Collaborate with the project team to ensure performance targets are met and maintained.
• Identify corrective actions when scope or performance gaps are identified.
• Ensure issues are properly identified and communicated to project team.
• Assist with the resolution of issues by proposing and tracking implementation of solutions to the project team.
• Proactively address and escape as required, constraints to achieving project outcomes and scope completion.
• Familiarity with building automation systems software.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
