Job summary

ENFRA LLC is seeking a Controls Analyst to support Energy-as-a-Service projects, focusing on HVAC optimization, BAS evaluation, and energy savings verification across multi-building portfolios in higher education and healthcare settings.

The role involves analyzing BAS architectures, deploying advanced HVAC sequences, troubleshooting performance issues, and leading retro-commissioning and ongoing optimization efforts with cross-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field or 4 years of experience in lieu of degree.
• 2+ years of experience in HVAC controls, design, energy management, or relevant fields.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to interact professionally with owners, reps, contractors, engineers and architects.

Responsibilities

• Understanding of DDC controls.
• Develop and implement energy conservation measures including room ventilation schedules per ASHRAE guidelines with project delivery team.
• Participate in site surveys, documentation review, and due diligence activities to determine facility conditions and develop applicable energy conservation measures.
• Participate in retro-commissioning and commissioning efforts on assigned projects.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and modify building automation system programming to implement energy conservation measures within existing sequences.
• Interact directly with the project team to ensure high quality, functional and optimized systems are delivered.
• Utilize test instrumentation to troubleshoot, verify, and optimize building system operation.
• Maintain awareness of energy performance for assigned scopes through the duration of the project.
• Collaborate with the project team to ensure performance targets are met and maintained.
