Job summary

Fidelity Mechanical Services is seeking a seasoned Construction Sales Representative in Sparks, MD to lead estimating and bid proposals for commercial mechanical projects. The role includes coordinating with Owners, Developers, and General Contractors, and managing the bid process from start to finish.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of proven estimating experience, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to integrate mechanical construction with other trades.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of proven experience preparing estimates and proposals for commercial mechanical projects.
• Ability to prepare complete estimates and proposals for plan/spec or design/build projects including plumbing, hydronic piping, and sheet metal.
• Understand/coordinate Mechanical Construction with other trades.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook with strong writing abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop preliminary and definitive detailed estimates and proposals for labor, materials, and equipment for mechanical construction projects.
• Obtain and evaluate vendor and sub-contractor pricing for compliance with specifications.
• Attend pre-bid site meetings and interface with Owners, Developers, and General Contractors.
• Manage the bid preparation and written proposal process end-to-end.
• Maintain records of working documents backing estimates and proposals.
• Assist and coordinate with sales engineers.
