Job summary

Trane in Ashland, VA is seeking a Construction Project Superintendent to support the Project Manager in delivering HVAC construction projects. You will lead site activities, manage materials, and coordinate with customers, owners, and subcontractors to ensure timely, high-quality outcomes.

The role requires 5–10 years in commercial HVAC installation or construction, a valid driver's license, and the ability to travel as needed. Procore experience and safety emphasis are valued traits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical schooling preferred.
• 5–10 years of experience in Commercial HVAC installation or general construction.
• State contractor licenses preferred (HVAC Journeyman, Boiler Operator, etc.).
• Valid driver's license for at least 12 months with clean record in the past 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Assist Construction Project Manager to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Lead on selected projects with minimal oversight.
• Install, commission, diagnose, repair, and start-up HVAC systems at customer sites.
• Plan site surveys, prepare on-site installations, coordinate with other trades, and manage materials.
• Supervise technicians, subcontractors, and vendors; maintain quality and safety standards.
