Trane Technologies in Ashland, VA seeks a Construction Project Superintendent to support the Construction Project Manager. You will lead project installation teams, manage scheduling, and ensure delivery of high-quality HVAC projects on time and within budget.

The role requires hands-on field leadership, coordination with customers and subcontractors, and adherence to safety and quality standards. Expect regular site travel and some after-hours work as projects demand.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
5–10 years of experience in commercial HVAC installation or general construction.
State contractor licenses are preferred.
Must have a valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with clean record.
Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as required.

Responsibilities

Install, commission, diagnose, repair, and start up HVAC systems with knowledge of air conditioning theory, piping, and controls.
Plan and complete assigned projects on time while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Ensure compliance with internal contracting processes and maintain project documentation.
Conduct site surveys, prepare for on-site work, coordinate with other trades, and manage on-site activities.
Maintain inventory, track time and costs, and provide reports and paperwork on each job.
