Job summary

Johnson Barrow is seeking a Construction Project Manager to oversee end-to-end execution of mission-critical commercial HVAC projects. You will ensure equipment is delivered, installed, and commissioned to exact specifications, coordinating submittals, logistics, site readiness, startup, and warranty activities.

The ideal candidate is highly technical, comfortable on active construction sites, and adept at navigating project management and commissioning platforms such as CxAlloy.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial or mission-critical construction and HVAC/MEP systems.
• Strong understanding of construction documents, mechanical plans, and technical specs.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues and propose practical solutions.
• Excellent communication, customer-facing and conflict-resolution skills.
• Highly organized, self-directed and accountable for deadlines; comfortable with commissioning software.

Responsibilities

• Lead project delivery from equipment release through commissioning and warranty closeout.
• Interpret drawings, schedules, and specifications to ensure alignment with design intent.
• Prepare, submit, and review submittal packages; verify compliance with requirements.
• Track progress with PM tools and commissioning software; update stakeholders on status.
• Manage budgets, change orders, and drive process improvements.
