In this role, you will support the HVAC Construction Sales team by turning customer needs into accurate, competitive, and technically sound proposals.

You will work with sales and operations on midsize and larger projects from early requirements through commercial offers, ensuring pricing is reliable and aligned with customer needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
• At least 5 years of experience estimating large commercial HVAC projects.
• Experience in a technology-driven environment.
• Ability to lead the estimating process independently while managing multiple priorities.
• Strong teamwork with sales and operations.
• Clear communication of technical and commercial details.
• Proactive, self-starting attitude with ownership.
• Hands-on with MS Word, MS Excel, MS Visio, and MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer requirements into complete commercial offers for HVAC construction projects.
• Develop accurate estimates and proposals for midsize and larger projects using approved tools and procedures.
• Work closely with sales and operations to clarify scope, assumptions, pricing, and solution options.
• Review customer documentation, specifications, and request details to identify risks, deviations, and interpretation gaps.
• Validate subcontractor pricing and incorporate third-party quotes into your calculations.
• Prepare for and contribute to pre-bid review meetings, bid clarifications, and proposal reviews.
• Manage and maintain data from previous calculations to improve future pricing accuracy and consistency.
• Support specification deviations, technical clarifications, and commercial questions throughout the bidding process.
• Conduct site visits when needed to better understand project requirements and site conditions.
• Coordinate inputs from internal stakeholders to ensure proposals are complete, timely, and well structured.
