Job summary

Sylvester & Cockrum is seeking a Commercial HVAC Sales Executive to drive new business and grow recurring maintenance revenue across the Southeast. The ideal candidate will hunt for opportunities, build lasting relationships with facility managers and contractors, and close deals.

The role offers up to $75,000 base plus uncapped commissions, car allowance, and comprehensive sales support to help you expand your territory and deliver value to customers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of outside B2B sales experience (preferred) in HVAC/mechanical/services
• Experience selling maintenance agreements or service contracts is a plus
• Ability to generate new business and close sales
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Organizational and time management abilities
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel

Responsibilities

• Prospect and develop new commercial customers through networking, referrals, and relationships
• Generate new preventive maintenance opportunities
• Meet with customers to evaluate equipment and service needs
• Prepare estimates and proposals for maintenance agreements
• Develop quotes for repair and service projects
• Build long-term relationships with property/facility managers and owners
• Identify opportunities for additional repairs, retrofits, and capital projects
• Present proposals and negotiate service agreements
• Coordinate with operations and service teams for a seamless customer experience
• Maintain accurate CRM and sales activity records
• Travel throughout assigned territory to meet customers and prospects
