Job summary

Carrier Enterprise is seeking a Commercial Sales Engineer to serve engineers, architects, contractors, and owners in the design, application and sale of unitary HVAC systems across our national distributor network.

The role offers exposure to over 200 locations, a competitive salary range of $100K–$200K, and a comprehensive benefits package including health, retirement, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven technical sales experience in HVAC
• Undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering or similar technical discipline
• Strong presentation skills and ability to engage engineers and contractors

Responsibilities

• Contact and call on consulting engineers, mechanical contractors, architects, and owners to achieve annual sales and gross margin goals
• Conduct sales, design, and application training to key decision makers
• Collaborate with specifying engineers and design-build contractors to specify Carrier Enterprise products
• Develop new business through targeted prospecting and expand share in assigned territory
• Prepare take-offs, price estimates, and bid proposals for projects
• Participate in local and regional trade shows and provide product training to customers
