Job summary

USA Mechanical & Energy Service is seeking an Estimator based in East Granby, CT. You will perform take-offs for HVAC and plumbing projects, read blueprints, and prepare design/build budget estimates and change-orders.

Responsibilities

• Develop take-offs of materials, labor and subcontractors for HVAC and Plumbing projects.
• Prepare design/build budget estimates and value engineering estimates.
• Prepare estimates for change-orders on projects.
• Solicit and engage subcontractor bids/vendors and establish relationships.
• Create estimating spreadsheets and detailed proposals.
• Analyze job cost estimating data from reports.
• Read blueprints and specifications to select materials and equipment.
