Job summary

Fogelman Properties is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee a maintenance team across multifamily communities in Texas. The role emphasizes timely service requests, make-readies, and coordination with vendors to uphold property quality.

You will supervise daily work, ensure safety and compliance, and manage logs and preventive tasks while supporting residents and operations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Three years of supervisory experience in property management preferred.
• Five years of maintenance experience preferred.
• HVAC Certification required (Type 1 & 2 or Universal).
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) may be required.
• Proficient in plumbing, HVAC, electrical and appliance repair.
• Proficient in computers and online applications.
• Knowledge of Yardi, Entrata, and HappyCo; MS Office preferred.
• Driver's license and automobile insurance may be required.

Responsibilities

• Review and assign work to the service team including make-readies.
• Order equipment and supplies within budget.
• Inspect make-readies prior to move-in.
• Maintain property logs (refrigerant, pool chemical, mold).
• Analyze and resolve escalated maintenance issues.
• Coordinate and schedule outside vendors.
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergencies.
• Weekend work may be required.
• Adhere to safety and Fair Housing policies.
• Supervise, coach, and evaluate maintenance staff.
• Interview and plan workloads.
• Other duties as assigned.
