Job summary

Fogelman is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance team, handle service requests, and manage turn-key operations across the property. You will coordinate with vendors, schedule work, and control supply orders while ensuring compliance with safety and housing policies.

The role requires supervising interview and training of staff, maintaining logs, and readiness for on-call coverage, including potential weekend work.

Qualifications

• Three years of supervisory experience in property management preferred.
• Five years of maintenance experience preferred.
• HVAC Certification required (Type 1 & 2 or Universal).
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) may be required.
• Proficient in plumbing, HVAC, electrical and appliance repair.
• Proficient in use of computers and online applications.
• Working knowledge of property systems such as Yardi, Entrata, and HappyCo preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office preferred.
• A valid driver's license and automobile insurance may be required depending on the property.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the maintenance team and assign service requests.
• Order equipment and supplies in line with budget.
• Inspect make-readies prior to move-in.
• Maintain property logs (refrigerant, pool chemicals, mold).
• Analyze and resolve escalated maintenance issues.
• Coordinate and schedule outside vendors as needed.
• Possibly participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergencies.
• Weekend work may be required.
• Adhere to safety and housing policies; support fair housing standards.
• Interview, coach, and train maintenance staff.
