Job summary

Harthall Hotel in Nashville, TN is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform general repairs, HVAC maintenance, and daily preventive maintenance of guest rooms. The role includes on-call hours and some weekends, with opportunities for advancement through the Management Development Program.

Ideal candidates have prior hotel maintenance experience, basic HVAC/plumbing/electrical knowledge, and HVAC certification.

Qualifications

• Prior maintenance experience in a hotel environment is ideal.
• Familiar with basic HVAC, plumbing, drywall and PTAC units and electrical systems.
• HVAC certification required.
• Excellent English communication skills and able to read, write and speak fluently.
• Must be able to lift 50–100 lbs.
• Schedule flexibility including weekends; able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs throughout the hotel.
• Troubleshoot issues to determine repairs; conduct routine preventive maintenance.
• Assist with housekeeping duties as needed and maintain exterior of the building.
• Respond to work orders and guest room service calls in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

In this role you will be responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs throughout the hotel, troubleshooting issues to determine necessary repairs, performing routine maintenance and preventative maintenance programs, and assisting with housekeeping duties as needed. You will also be responsible for maintaining the building exterior and responding to work orders and service calls to guest rooms in a timely manner

• Prior maintenance experience in a brand or luxury hotel environment is ideal, but willing to train the right hospitality professional looking to grow their career. We are dedicated to thoroughly training & developing our team into hotel leaders through interactive teamwork in a positive work environment!


• Familiar with basic HVAC, plumbing, drywall PTAC units and electrical systems


• HVAC certification required


• Knowledge of fire protection and life safety systems is also a plus


• Excellent English communication skills and able to read, write and speak fluently


• Must be able to lift and move objects 50 lbs up to 100 lbs


• Schedule flexibility including weekends, and holidays


• Work independently


• Strong work ethic

Hourly compensation ranges between $32.00-$34.00 based on experience
