Job summary

Wesley Medical Center in Wichita is seeking a skilled HVAC Maintenance Technician to maintain HVAC, boilers, refrigeration units, and building automation systems. You will troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic controls, read schematics, and perform preventive maintenance on scheduled timelines to ensure safe and reliable operations.

As part of Plant Operations/Maintenance, you will collaborate with outside contractors, follow codes and safety procedures, and participate in on-call

Qualifications

• Vocational school or relevant experience in facility maintenance.
• Knowledge of HVAC, hydraulic and electrical control systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Familiarity with building automation systems and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Maintains HVAC systems, refrigeration equipment and electromechanical areas.
• Monitors and troubleshoots DDC controls and Building Automation System.
• Reads blueprints, manuals and schematics; ensures equipment complies with specs.
• Performs preventive maintenance and documents tests and repairs.
• Works with contractors to ensure regulatory codes and standards compliance.
• Handles hazardous chemicals safely and participates in on-call rotation.
• Maintains and updates equipment documentation and records.
