Job summary

Woodbine Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a Building Maintenance/HVAC Technician to join our team in a full-time role with a 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM shift. The position offers an hourly range of $25.00 - $30.00/hr with incentives and daily pay options.

Daily duties include general maintenance across multiple trades and ensuring a safe, well-maintained environment for residents and staff. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry,

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of general maintenance experience required, including painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, or related trades.
• HVAC, plumbing, and electrical experience strongly preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency required, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and internet-based systems.
• Strong knowledge of building equipment, building systems, and applicable building codes.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including day, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts as needed.
• COVID Vaccination Required

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repair work, including painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, and other facility systems.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair building equipment and systems to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Support preventative maintenance programs to reduce equipment downtime and extend system longevity.
• Maintain knowledge of building systems, equipment, and applicable building codes and regulations.
• Utilize basic computer systems (Word, Excel, Internet Explorer, or similar platforms) to document work orders, track maintenance activities, and communicate updates.
• Respond to maintenance requests promptly while prioritizing resident safety and comfort.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety procedures, facility policies, and regulatory standards.
