Spring Creek Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Harrisburg, PA is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician for a full-time role. The position requires performing installation, service, and repair of HVAC systems in a skilled nursing setting with emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of HVAC practices specific to nursing facilities, a high school diploma or GED, and at least two years in a maintenance role within a health-related facility.

Qualificações

• Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma or GED.
• Must have, as a minimum, two (2) years experience in a maintenance department in a health-related Facility
• Must be knowledgeable of HVAC practices and procedures in nursing care facilities
• Must successfully complete a post offer, pre-employment criminal background check and physical / drug screen.

Responsabilidades

• Install, service, modify, troubleshoot, rebuild, and repair HVAC systems and equipment in a residential establishment in accordance with applicable building codes and safety regulations
• Troubleshoot, repair, modify, or replace Power, and/or control wiring/circuit
• Must be able to troubleshoot electronic controls, possess electrical knowledge, and have plumbing knowledge of both water and steam systems
• Manage repair costs while minimizing inefficiencies
• Monitors HVAC systems and operations and ensures that routine preventive maintenance is performed according to established schedules and standards
• Checks, repairs and/or replaces valves, motors, controls, switches, gauges, wiring, fans, pumps, compressors, condensers, cores, pipes and other functional components of the system
• Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures
• Applies all applicable OSHA and related local safety requirements to all assigned work
